KATE MOSS: MOST WANTED {PART 1}

Above: in what I assume is Vivienne Westwood (and covering a cold sore) while at a private viewing of Westwood's exhibition at The V&A in 2004

Above: in a chic scarf, shiny jacket, ankle jeans and fierce boots to match a fierce face while sipping champagne at a party in 2004

Above: in the original Liberty print pansy dress while out-and-about in New York in 2005. This dress was later made in it's masses for her first April 2007 Kate Moss for Topshop collection (cough.. I have one, and the matching orange playsuite..)

Above: in what I think is a Stella McCartney dress while at the masked themed Moet and Chandon Fashion Tribute party in 2006

Above: in a Bella Freud jumper, classic black ballet pumps, and with a colourful Chanel clutch in tow while out-and-about in London in 2004
{Part 2} OF KATE MOSS: MOST WANTED IS COMING SOON.. The looks and images in these posts will be in no particular order preference or time wise.

BACK IN THE BOHO DAY

Publication: British Vogue December 2004 / Photographer: Mario Testino / Model: Sienna Miller in a creation by Olivier Theyskens
I remember how much I was in love with this winter wonderland cover and shoot when it first came out. It's from way back when Sienna still had an air of mystery. She was the blonde dating Jude Law, the muse to Matthew Williamson and the "Queen of Boho Chic", so I wanted to know more. She seems so new and innocent here, but having said that, I still think she always rocks it on the street and red-carpet {Photo Source: siennafan.net}

HANNE & THE MULTICOLOURED DREAMCOAT

Hanne Gaby Odiele hanging out in her New York apartment / Location and Photographer unknown
Well first of all, I want that colourful striped shirt, but also, if I was at home in my sweats and wearing no make-up whatsoever, I would look shockingly unattractive, but not our girl Hanne. No, she looks natural, youthful and radiant, and this could easily be a shoot for i-D.

THE BRITISH ARE COMING

Kate Moss photographed by Richard Chambury at the launch of London Fashion Week, 25/09/97 {Photo Source: katemossonline}
This makes me proud to be British, and blonde, so now all I need is that jumper. I may still have my Ginger Spice Union Jack dress somewhere..

A-RING-A-DING-DING

Publication: V Magazine #53 May/June 2008, In Your Dreams / Photographer: Sebastian Faena / Model: Lily Donaldson
These photographs are making me want to close my eyes and dream, but also, Lily's wearing the YSL ring I want on her left pinkie finger!

SPOTTED COAT

I really want a coat like Sienna's. It's simple, cliché and fun. Also, her ring looks nice too - I JUST WANT EVERYTHING!

MUSHY BACK TO MISCHA

Publication: L'officiel Paris June/July 2009, Mischa! Mischa! / Photographer: Andrea Spotorno / Model: Mischa Barton
Right, well I loved Mischa when she was the darling of The OC series 1 (mid-way through series 2 she became angry and annoying), but she's just a mess these days, and although it's a little cruel, I usually stick to calling her what Perez Hilton does: Mushy Fartone. HOWEVER!!! As soon as I saw these photographs I fell in love with them. She looks elegant, chic and cool (not forgetting that she's probably been styled by a professional), and she's bringing the old Barton back. All I'm saying Mushy, sorry, Mischa, is go back to your old self! Stop wearing loads of eye liner, stop pretending you're a punk, and pretty much stop dressing badly and making awful career choices. She's never going to be a good actress (anyone seen the released clips from her new show The Beautiful Life? Oh dear God, I'm not sure that summer at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art did much good..), but she CAN and WILL be a fashion icon if she snaps out of it. Mischa rocks my socks in these photos ★★★ {Photo Source: The Fashion Spot} ★★★

MUSINGS OF HANNE

Publication: Muse #15 / Title: Running Wild / Photographer: Magnus Unnar / Model: Hanne Gaby Odiele
Although this shoot contains an awful of fur (let's just tell ourselves it's fake) there's something lovely, youthful and playful about it. Also, Indian head-dresses are so cool, Topshop is selling a wonderful creation at the moment for around £30 - very La Moss on the cover of The Face, 1990.

DUDE LOOKS LIKE A LADY

Above Publication: V #35, Summer 2005 {Photo Source: The Fashion Spot}
Kate Moss photographed in Marc Jacobs Autumn/Winter 2005 by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin
If only every woman could look this beautiful in a beard. I have no plans to wear one, but I'd at least like the option.

Above Publication: V #40, Spring 2006 / Kate Moss photographed in Ralph Lauren by David Sims {Photo Source: The Fashion Spot}
This cover is just so summer, sun, sunset, nature, youth, sky, love, freckles, high, colour, blonde, festival, tan - I adore it.

BACKSTAGE PASS

Publication: British Vogue October 2005 / Title: Crowd Pleaser / Photographer: Corinne Day / Model: Gemma Ward at Glastonbury. It's been so sunny for the past few days (23° in London today!), but it kind of reminds me of how I'm not going to a festival this Summer, boohoo. I went to Benicassim last year and it was INCREDIBLE, but more importantly, the above Corinne Day photographs are making me want to go festival shopping NOW. I looove Gemma's top outfit, and the 3rd photo is superb, but the lighting on her face and hair in the 2nd is just gorgeous. {Photo Source: ilovegemmaward.com}

THERE AIN'T NO PARTY LIKE THE WHIG PARTY
